About James Cochran
Hey there! I'm James, and my journey from a fresh grad to where I am today has been nothing short of an adventure. After wrapping up my Master's in Counseling and Guidance, I dove into private practice. It was a great start, but I quickly realized I'm more of a team player.
While teaching psychology to undergrads at William Jewell, I also spent some nights in an Emergency Department, where quick thinking and teamwork were the name of the game. These experiences weren't just about work; they were lessons in collaboration, communication, and handling the unexpected with a cool head.
Later, managing programs and guiding staff and volunteers, I got to flex my problem-solving muscles and keep my client interaction skills sharp. Today, I'm all about using this rich mix of experiences to help folks in coaching and mindfulness. Whether it’s finding your zen or tackling life’s hurdles head-on, I'm here to help you navigate it all.
My approach? Flexible, honest, clear. I'm big on authenticity, balance, and taking things at the right pace. My goal is simple: help you move from where you are to where you want to be, all while staying true to yourself.
